In a remarkable show of support for Nigerian sporting talent, Jedo Investment Company Ltd, a leading name in estate development, has awarded plots of land to two of Nigeria’s football icons — Super Falcons’ goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie and Africa Player of the Year Ademola Lookman.
Each athlete was presented with 400 square meters of land in the prestigious Jedo Mega Estate, Ushafa – Abuja. This generous reward reflects Jedo Investment’s unwavering commitment to recognizing and empowering national heroes.
“Nnadozie’s efforts not only helped secure the championship but also served as a shining example of dedication and excellence for millions of Nigerians and football lovers around the world,”
— Anthony Onwuma, General Manager (Human and Business Relations), Jedo Investment Company Limited
Chiamaka Nnadozie, the Africa Goalkeeper of the Year and current champion of the African Women’s Championship, and Ademola Lookman, the reigning Africa Player of the Year, continue to elevate Nigeria’s reputation in global football. In recognition of their exceptional contributions, both athletes have also been appointed Brand Ambassadors for Jedo Investment Company.
This initiative aligns with Jedo’s broader mission to invest in sports and youth development across Nigeria. The company is currently spearheading a major infrastructure project under the FIFA Forward 3.0 Programme, which includes:
-
Construction of a 68-room players’ hostel
-
Development of new training pitches at the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja
“We are proud to support these talented individuals and contribute to the growth of sports in Nigeria,”
— Anthony Onwuma
Both Nnadozie and Lookman expressed deep gratitude for the recognition, vowing to represent the Jedo brand with pride and excellence.
This growing partnership between Jedo Investment and Nigeria’s football stars is a powerful inspiration to the next generation of athletes and a testament to Jedo’s role as a true champion of Nigerian potential.
